(1840) 460pp. Featuring the Rhinoceros and Hippopotamus as well as Tapirs, the Ox, Goats and more. With 48 engravings. 12mo. (165x110mm) With raised bands and gilt decoration and titling to spines. All edges gilt. Marbled end-papers. Inner and outer dentelles. Previous owner's bookplates to front pastdown. Small pencil inscriptions to ffeps, Rubbing to spines, occasional light markings to covers and page edges. Contents clean and bindings sound. A very pleasing set. Good/very good.
