Charming half leather set of Austen's novels, published and bound by Riviere and Son. Each with a tissue guarded frontispiece taken from C. E. Brock's great colour illustrations of Austen. Small 12mo. (175x115mm) Blue calf with blue cloth. Marbled endpapers. Top edge gilt. Slight sunning to spines of some volumes. Light rubbing to extremities. Mansfield Park has creasing and a small tear to frontispiece, without loss and very light foxing to page edge. Otherwise all volumes are prim and clean. Bindings square and tight. Very good overall.
