First edition of The Modern Illustrated Library edition of edition of Don Quixote. Featuring 10 double page water-colour illustrations specially done for this edition of Salvador Dali, plus further b/w sketches within the text. Complete with acetate overlay dust jacket. 8vo. [xviii] 587pp. Clear plastic DJ has only minor loss to the lettering (part of the e in Don Quixote), and slight loss to top of spine. Very slight rubbing to edges and a couple of small instances of rubbing to cloth of front cover. Light smudge to fore-edge. Else clean and tight, gilt to spine is bright. A rather nice example of this impressive and marvellously illustrated Modern Library edition. Very good.
